Was Fusion too much?

 It could have been good, but the fact that this new villain could have destroyed the entire planet any time it wanted to, it was either get them to go SSJ2 and Gohan SSJ3, or a simple fusion. Everything had to be done fast, because it was difficult to reason with this new villain fusion was necessary.

Well I'm sure Buu can control his ki, so him not breaking Tien in half can easily be explained. At the end of the day, he died with everyone else in the world and didn't feel a damn thing since he was knocked out along with Gohan and the rest of them lol and I'm sorry, the Kais survived Buff Buu?

 I always feel that Vegito was forced
So , potara was forced too
Gogeta would have done it

Well , fusion was needed , but the dependence on it should have been less .
And Potara was forced and too much

 It was a bit too much in my opinion. Like, Gotenks being able to go SSj3 so easily was just ridiculous. But, I liked fusion! :p

 I'd prefer if fusion was never introduced.
Same goes for SSJ3 and the Ultimate Form Old Kai can give.
They all seemed silly.
And Fat Boo.
If he had a better design from the get go. And have him weaker so that the likes of Majin Vegeta was almost equal in power. Just constant regeneration stopped him from winning.
Also think it would have been better if Vegeta and Goku stayed dead. And part of the epilogue was them fighting in Otherworld.
And have Gohan to defeat Majin Buu with the Z-Sword, instead of having it as a plot device to bring old kai in.
